Pipeline Measurement

Measure Your Ads by the Pipeline They Bring

We connect your ad platforms to your CRM so every campaign is judged by what happens after the form: meetings, SQLs, opportunities and revenue.

Sound familiar?

The problem: two systems, two different stories

Your CEO asks what paid media does for pipeline. The ad platforms say leads went up. Sales says the leads don't convert.

Both can be true at the same time. That's the problem.

The ad platforms report clicks, leads and CPL. The CRM reports meetings, deals and revenue. In most B2B SaaS companies, nothing connects the two in a way anyone trusts.

So budget decisions get made on the numbers that are easiest to see:

  • The campaign with the lowest CPL gets more budget, even if its leads never reach sales

  • Marketing reports lead growth while the pipeline stays flat

  • Each channel takes credit for the same deal

  • Nobody can say which campaign brought last quarter's best customers

The result: campaigns that bring plenty of leads and very few deals.

CRM connection

What we connect

01

Source data that survives the trip.

UTMs, click IDs and lead source captured on every form and passed into the CRM, so each lead is tied to a channel, campaign and ad.

02

Clear stage definitions.

We agree with you and your sales team what counts as a quality lead, an SQL and an opportunity. Without this, every report is an argument.

03

Campaign to pipeline, end to end.

Every lead traced from the first click to its CRM stage. You see cost per quality lead, cost per SQL and cost per opportunity for each channel and campaign.

04

Numbers that agree.

Ad platforms, analytics and CRM reconciled regularly. When they disagree, you know which one to trust and why.

Conversion data
400%
Lead-to-meeting rate

In one B2B SaaS account, sending conversion data back to LinkedIn lifted the lead-to-meeting rate by 400%.

Quality lead definition
2.5X
Quality lead rate

An HR-tech SaaS used closed-deal data from its CRM to redefine what a quality lead was, then rebuilt Google, LinkedIn and Meta around it. Its quality lead rate went up 2.5X, and cost per quality lead fell 24%. It now gets the same number of quality leads on about 20% less spend.

SQL and meeting data
4X
Leads and meetings

A compliance and security SaaS moved its budget decisions from lead volume to SQL and meeting data. Leads and meetings grew 4X, and qualified opportunities appeared where there had been none.

Offline conversions

Sending quality back to the ad platforms

Measuring pipeline is half the job. The other half is teaching the platforms what a good lead looks like.

We send your CRM stages back to Google Ads, LinkedIn and Meta as conversions. Automated bidding then learns from qualified leads and meetings. Over time, the platforms find more people who look like your real buyers.

This is often the single biggest change in an account.

"Mediaflowzz shifted our paid search from lead volume to lead quality. Nearly three times as many of our leads now qualify with sales."

Weekly reporting

The report you get

Every week, a short report your team can forward to the CEO:

One clear answer to the question "what is paid doing for pipeline?"

  • Spend, leads, quality leads, SQLs and opportunities, by channel and campaign
  • Cost per quality lead and cost per SQL, compared with last period and your goal
  • What changed, why, and what we're doing about it
The shift

What changes when you measure this way

Budget moves toward the campaigns sales actually wants.

Sometimes the campaign with the highest CPL turns out to bring the best deals. Sometimes a channel that looked great on leads is cut. Either way, the decision is based on pipeline.

Lead volume may drop at first. Quality leads usually go up.

"We'd narrowed our whole go-to-market to one offering and needed paid media to catch up fast. Mediaflowzz rebuilt around the new positioning, tested until they found the offer that worked, and turned it into real pipeline."

Questions

FAQ

Which CRMs do you work with?

Most of our clients run on one of the major B2B CRMs. If yours can store lead source and lifecycle stages, we can connect it.

Do we need a full attribution tool?

Usually not at the start. Clean source data, agreed stage definitions and CRM stages sent back to the platforms solve most of the problem. If you outgrow that, we'll say so.

What counts as a "quality lead"?

That's defined with you and your sales team. It's usually based on fit (company, role, size) and on what happened next, like a meeting booked or an opportunity opened.

How long does setup take?

The basic connection usually takes a few weeks, depending on your CRM and how clean the existing data is. The platforms then need time to learn from the new conversion data.

Will lead volume drop?

It might, at first. When the platforms optimize for quality, some low-intent leads disappear. The goal is more SQLs and pipeline.

Can you do this if another agency runs our campaigns?

Yes, though it works best when the same team owns both the campaigns and the measurement.
